Has Alex Rodriguez hit himself a ‘walk off home run’ with his recent involvement with Madonna?
It would appear that Mrs Rodriguez thinks so as she filed for divorce from her New York Yankee’s baseball player husband of 5 and a half years.
Cynthia Rodriguez, who recently gave birth to the couple’s second child, was reported to have left the slugger last week, citing Madonna as the cause of her marital breakdown, and alleging Madonna wooed Rodriguez to Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism.
But today Madonna took the unusual step of making a public statement relating to the allegations saying, “I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study’. Madonna also said she issued the statement to distinguish “fact from fiction.” She continued, “I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously”.
But the baseball great “has been spotted making late-night visits to Madonna’s West Side, Manhattan, New York home, meetings which Cynthia is telling friends have left her husband brainwashed by Kabbalah.
This further adds fuel to the rumours that the singer is already dealing with claims that she was to divorce husband Guy Ritchie. Two weeks ago it was reported that Madonna had lined up Paul McCartney’s divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton to represent her as reports spread that her seven-year marriage was at breaking point.
So, is it a load of Kabbalah or is it a slam dunk?

Its official, Nicole Kidman has welcomed the arrival of her first biological baby, a daughter whom she named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. The baby weighed in at a healthy 6 lb 7 ounces.
Although the baby arrived on Monday morning, she still has the name Sunday.
The actress and her husband Keith Urban were in Nashville, Tennessee when their little angel made her big entrance and her maternal grandparents had made a special trip to greet the baby’s arrival, all the way from Australia!

Urban who is a country star performed a show just two nights ago, dedicating song Better Half to his wife who was watching from the sidelines. It’s a situation usually on afforded to criminals and political activists but now Amy Winehouse is also under house arrest. Or at least she’s being monitored 24 hours a day to ensure she doesn’t escape in the back of some unsuspecting driver’s car as she did earlier this week or make off to some local watering hole in Camden!
Now Magazine says, “Amy’s been put under house arrest. She is being monitored by 24/7 surveillance to make sure she’s behaving herself and keeping out of harm’s way.
Added to Amy not being allowed out to roam the streets of London she is also forbidden to have any undesirables passing through her front door. Effectively, the security guard placed on her threshold wont be allowing any known drug dealers to come anywhere near her. The record company have stated, ‘Amy has to give them names of people expected. Anyone who turns up uninvited will be sent packing. It’s for her own good.’
