Millions of Harry Potter fans have gone into shock mode after receiving the news that the JK Rowling book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is the latest Warner Brothers movie in the Harry P series has been moved from its original premiere date of November 21st 2008 to July 17th 2009.

But why????

Well, amidst all the rumours, the one that would appear to hold the most water is the one that WB just cant risk being associated with a ‘sexy’ Daniel Radcliffe, as he removes his shirt on Broadway and the bespectacled Harry, who remains chaste and virginal.

Radcliffe has recently been running amuck on Broadway with both his shirt removed, his morals in question as he performs sex acts and slays horses in the New York based show Equus.

By the time Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince debuts in 2009, WB are hoping that Equus will either have concluded its run or Radcliffe will have completed his contract.

Hogwarts just wouldn’t tolerate that sort of behaviour which is only associated with the lesser gifted muggles!

Victoria Beckham spiced up her floral outfit this weekend when attending the 35th birthday party of fellow Brit, Kate Beckinsale. But not adhering to the unwritten rule of not upstaging the bride, Posh Spice completely upstaged birthday girl Kate who wore a full length black dress and matching black and gold shoes.

Posh Spice, the wife of Galaxy star, David Beckham, not content to remain in the background, went for a pair of towering, shocking pink monstrosity shoes to draw attention to herself in the vain attempt to appear as some kind of fashion icon.

Showing what a ridiculous choice the shoes were, Posh teetered dangerously on the 6 inch heels at the Beverly Hills Thompson Hotel where she partied with friend Eva Longoria who was much more sensibly clad in a bright yellow dress and white heeled shoes.

Has Alex Rodriguez hit himself a ‘walk off home run’ with his recent involvement with Madonna?

It would appear that Mrs Rodriguez thinks so as she filed for divorce from her New York Yankee’s baseball player husband of 5 and a half years.

Cynthia Rodriguez, who recently gave birth to the couple’s second child, was reported to have left the slugger last week, citing Madonna as the cause of her marital breakdown, and alleging Madonna wooed Rodriguez to Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism.

But today Madonna took the unusual step of making a public statement relating to the allegations saying, “I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study’. Madonna also said she issued the statement to distinguish “fact from fiction.” She continued, “I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously”.

But the baseball great “has been spotted making late-night visits to Madonna’s West Side, Manhattan, New York home, meetings which Cynthia is telling friends have left her husband brainwashed by Kabbalah.

This further adds fuel to the rumours that the singer is already dealing with claims that she was to divorce husband Guy Ritchie. Two weeks ago it was reported that Madonna had lined up Paul McCartney’s divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton to represent her as reports spread that her seven-year marriage was at breaking point.

So, is it a load of Kabbalah or is it a slam dunk?
