Has Alex Rodriguez hit himself a ‘walk off home run’ with his recent involvement with Madonna?
It would appear that Mrs Rodriguez thinks so as she filed for divorce from her New York Yankee’s baseball player husband of 5 and a half years.
Cynthia Rodriguez, who recently gave birth to the couple’s second child, was reported to have left the slugger last week, citing Madonna as the cause of her marital breakdown, and alleging Madonna wooed Rodriguez to Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism.
But today Madonna took the unusual step of making a public statement relating to the allegations saying, “I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study’. Madonna also said she issued the statement to distinguish “fact from fiction.” She continued, “I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously”.
But the baseball great “has been spotted making late-night visits to Madonna’s West Side, Manhattan, New York home, meetings which Cynthia is telling friends have left her husband brainwashed by Kabbalah.
This further adds fuel to the rumours that the singer is already dealing with claims that she was to divorce husband Guy Ritchie. Two weeks ago it was reported that Madonna had lined up Paul McCartney’s divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton to represent her as reports spread that her seven-year marriage was at breaking point.
So, is it a load of Kabbalah or is it a slam dunk?

Paul McCartney is about to let us know how big is carbon footprint might be as he takes delivery of his new maroon Lexus LS600h, which is deemed to be very environmentally friendly as it features a powerful five litre V8 petrol engine which produces relatively low carbon emissions of 219g per kilometre which is comparable to other cars in terms of size and power which have emissions of 249g per kilometre.
Paul McCartney gives the thumbs up to the environmentally friendly car!
But there is a huge bone of contention with Paul having the new car after the manufacturers had it flown, 7,000 miles from the car plant in Japan causing a spokesman for environmental management consultancy Carbon Footprint to comment, ‘Sir Paul would have to drive 36,100 miles in the car to create the same amount of carbon dioxide as that single flight. It’s a ridiculous situation.’
But surely that isn’t Paul being environmentally irresponsible, it’s the manufacturers who sent it!
Although this seems, on the surface to be a less than environmentally friendly gesture the car itself, has been fitted with cloth seats as opposed to leather, as Paul is a vegetarian and the singer demanded that no animal products were used in his new car.
The company, Toyota, sponsored Paul’s 2005 tour of the U.S. and produced a one-off McCartney-themed hybrid SUV, which was sold to benefit an anti landmine charity.
So lets not be too down on Paul, in the end everyone benefits!

Denise Richards’s tasters of her new reality show, ’Its Complicated’ over the past few weeks have portrayed her as the victim of a womanizing husband, Charlie Sheen, and the poor single parent mother.
Her attempts to muster an audience with an appearance on the Larry King show was so contrived and transparent that it surely left not one viewer convinced of this woman’s vulnerability. With uncontrollable body language, tensing facial muscles and guarded answers it was easy to see exactly who was the victim in the relationship and it certainly wasn’t her!
Now Richards’s show has aired it has only served to reinforce the viciousness of the woman which is reminiscent of the attempts by Heather Mills to portray herself as the ‘lost soul’ in her divorce battle with Paul McCartney and now Richards is using the same tact.
But as with Mills her mouth runs away with her and the true Denise is revealed.
During the show Richards becomes irate about her children being exposed to something having been written about her and is showing the woman in the line of fire just how annoyed she can be by using a four letter word beginning with C.
Why on earth she would be annoyed about a written article about her life reaching her kids is absurd, when she’s plastering her life across the network and pimping her kids into the bargain is a total mystery!
Maybe someone should have told Denise that if you don’t want your life to be public knowledge don’t whore yourself out for money and fame just because your husband dumps you and your career has taken a tail spin!
Meanwhile Charlie Sheen sees Richards’s show as an attempt to sabotage his recent wedding to Brooke Mueller when he commented, “I think it’s no accident that whatserface chose this time to do what she did. It’s pretty obvious that Brooke and I, through our actions and union, are moving on with our lives. Perhaps somebody else should consider the same,” he tells OK!.
Sheen also insists that he’s moved on from Richards – and vows never mention her name again.
He says, “I’m tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don’t even care any more.
“I’m going to take a public stand to basically never utter her name publicly again, and I think if that’s known it will put an end to some of the drama.
Lets all follow Charlie’s lead, never speak of ‘whatserface’ ever again and certainly don’t subject ourselves to her cuss-happy TV show!
