It seems just like yesterday that Victoria and David Beckham made their regal entrance to the world of L.A. glitz and glamour with high hopes of conquering the Hollywood celebrity scene but already the penny has dropped with Posh Spice that she’s not cut out for life in the American spotlight.

With her haughty stance, Victoria has gained little respect or adoration from other A-Listers among the Beverly Hills set and for her, being in the spotlight has meant nothing but ridicule.

Apart from an extremely brief appearance on Ugly Betty, Victoria Beckham has struggled to make her presence felt and American’s in general have very little interest in a woman who clearly has no talent and has turned out to be little more than a pouting clothes horse.

Being a big fish in a small pool, which Posh was in the UK certainly hasn’t translated too well in her move across the Atlantic.

Even after Posh’s attempts at a reality show about her less than interesting life, modeling, judging fashion on the cat walk at New York’s fashion week, making friends with stars such as Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, having girl’s nights out with Eva Longoria and even a world tour with her ex band mates, The Spice Girls, none of this has brought her the ‘celebrity’ she sought and desired.

But now, after commenting recently on the couple’s future, Posh has indicated that her thoughts are clearly turning to England’s green and pleasant land as she said, “If we lived in England full-time, which at some point I’m sure we will, we would have to have a house in London.”
The only problem facing Mrs Beckham is the remaining 4 years left on husband David’s contract with the L.A. Galaxy football team.

So for now America must tolerate her over glossed-pouting mouth and England can breath a sigh of relief!

After months of preparation, Katie Holmes (registered under an alias), run among the tens of thousands of runners in yesterday’s New York City Marathon.

She finished the race in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds (a very respectable 12 1/2 minutes per mile) and husband Tom Cruise was there at the finish line to greet her.

Katie Holmes fueled another round of pregnancy rumors at the L.A. premiere of husband Tom Cruise’s new drama Lions for Lambs Thursday. A glowing Holmes, 28, appeared to be sporting a mini bump as she worked the red carpet in a one-shouldered, silk charmeuse Monique Lhuillier gown.

Though she didn’t address questions about a possible pregnancy, the actress and her husband — who will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary November 18, were happy to give the crowd a display of their mutual affection, as Cruise, 42, whispered to his wife and softly kissed her ear as they made their way into the theater.
