With no mammoth success on the music scene in past few years, and with little or no interest from the media either in her her life or her sibling’s lives, Janet Jackson has now jumped on the reality show band wagon.

Jackson is to have her own reality show which will see her scouring the YMCA’s, church groups and local community centers in a bid to seek out her own ‘prodigy!’

Sounds a lot like X Factor, American Idol and Pop Idol - we think its already been done by someone with a little more credibility and flare than Jackson, Simon Cowell.

We can expect to see this show axed after the first season!

Initially annoyed by the, 2 hour, late arrival of Mariah Carey to her show, Ellen Degeneres, in her own carefree manner turned the ignorant behaviour of Carey around to her own advantage.

How? By wearing all the ridiculous gifts the over rated song bird brought to the show to celebrate Ellen’s 50^th ‘anniversary’.

Don’t we just love Ellen and despise the wicked witch of the East?

Ellen hosted a party Saturday night which included 600 well-wishers which included Janet Jackson, Tom Hanks, Allison Janney, Ray Romano, Joely Fisher, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Paris Hilton and sister Nicky Hilton with their boyfriends Benji Madden and David Katzenberg and, of course, DeGeneres’ girlfriend, Portia de Rossi.

Pink was in attendance to perform three acoustic numbers, including Janis Joplin’s Me and Bobby McGee.

Ellen’s party was not televised but she did air small snippets during her show on Monday.

Well what else would a publicist be hired for other than to keep those little parts of a woman’s body that often make a bid for freedom, strictly in line?

That’s exactly the function that the Harry Potter writer, J K Rowling’s publicist did at the prestigious British Book Awards which were held last night at the posh Grosvenor hotel in London .

Mark Hutchinson anticipated that the purple satin dress worn by Miss Rowling was insufficiently constructed to support her ample bust line and being a complete gentleman, took the opportunity to protect his charge from an more embarrassing photo shoot than was intended. When asked about the incident Hutchinson explained he was merely pointing Miss R in the direction of the photographers! Yeah, right!

Hutchinson had obviously been aware of Justin Timberlake’s lake of concern for Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction at the 2005 Super Bowl, when he merely carried on singing while Janet’s boob popped out to meet the fans!

With her voluptuous la-la’s on display J K was not left in the shadows as she posed next to the more than voluptuous vixen, Playboy model, Jordan aka Katie Price and with 13 years between the two women, the age difference was very unapparent with Katie looking less than fresh and chirpy with her recent weight loss and brunette coiffure!
