The frozen faced Aussie couldn’t help herself at this weekend’s Oscar Awards ceremony even during the live telecast. We may remember a pregnant Gwyneth Paltrow pulling a similar move while pregnant with (rarely photographed) baby boy Moses just years ago.

It appears that in Hollywood alcohol is completely acceptable for pregnant women while socializing. Unfortunately we attack Britney Spears for drinking within days of seeing her kids while we let Nicole off the hook for boozing it up with her unborn child?

 Alcohol is in fact the leading known preventable cause of mental and physical birth defects in the United States.

So shame on you Nicole! Especially noting that your husband is a recovering addict who recently relapsed!

Monday night, for actress Gwyneth Paltrow, meant a sleepover on a ward in New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital after being wheeled in by her husband, Chris Martin, where she was said to be ‘slumped over and not looking very well‘.

Usmagazine.com revealed that the reason for Paltrow’s visit was ‘unknown’.

A representative for Paltrow stated, ‘We are not commenting as it’s a personal matter.”

Gwyneth is now home and is said to be fine. After being released from hospital in Manhattan Paltrow popped into Organic Avenue, an NYC health store. According to NY Mag, an employee of the shop claims Paltrow is “doing our five-day live-food fast’.

Paltrow is married to Coldplay frontman, Martin with whom she has two children Apple Martin, 3, and Moses Martin, 1
