One would have thought with 21 other James Bond movies under their belt the producers of the latest Bond movie would have found the task of nailing down an outstanding theme song for Quantum of Solace would have been a synch!

But its proving more difficult than getting James Bond to commit to a woman!

So, with the list of modern day performers rapidly depleting in their search the producers are now going retro in their consideration of performers.

Names like Annie Lennox and Duran Duran are being banded around in a bid to add their magic touch to the new Bond movie theme.

No final choice has yet been made but with the release of the movie now only four months before it premieres, this musical mishap is becoming an issue.

Duran Duran of course already have experience in the field of Bond themes with their hit of the same name from the 1985 Bond movie, A View to a Kill.

Other greats who could be considered for the task, who are blasts from the past include, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, Madonna and Tom Jones, all of who, unlike the most recent choice for the job, Amy Winehouse, are mature enough to handle the job without being permanently high!

Theres more devestating news coming out of Hollywood today! Daniel Craig is taking himself off the market as far as being one of the world’s most eligible bachelors is concerned.

Daniel is reportedly about to marry his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell once he finishes filming the most recent James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, due for release in November this year.

A source tells British tabloid The Sun, “He asked her to marry him and she’s been showing off a very beautiful Cartier ring. It has a large diamond solitaire with a platinum setting. Daniel and Satsuki are now stronger than ever. They’re planning an intimate ceremony for close family and friends. They make a great couple.”

Please don’t let us all down and following Daniel’s footsteps George Clooney, it would be more than the female population of the world could accept in one year.

Now, we all want our men to be sensitive and in touch with their feminine side from time to time but haven’t things gone a little too far when James Bond, of all people have to look for a Quantum of Solace in their life?

Actor Daniel Craig, 39, the latest Bond has spoken of the heart brake felt by James when Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green, left him high and dry at the end of the 2007 Bond movie, Casino Royale.

During an interview and question time about his role in the new movie Craig tells us, ‘Where Bond is left at the end of the last movie his heart’s been broken and he doesn’t have that quantum of solace, he doesn’t have that closure on what happened in his life and he needs to find out.

Lets hope that Olga Kurylenko, his new Bond Girl can mend his broken heart and James can put away the Kleenex and pull it all back together before the final credits and revive our high hopes of a rough, tough Bond as played in past movies by Sean Connery, Pierce Bronson, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby.
