After just one year of marriage, during which Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Civil Fielder, has been ‘incarcerated’ the couple have been offered a $2 million book deal to reveal some ‘new’ insight into their lives.
But with Winehouse incapable of remembering her own door keys can there be any hope for a book consisting of more than the ‘forward’ and the dustcover?
Last night Winehouse staggered out of her local pub, The Good Mixer, in Camden Town, clutching what looked suspiciously like a marijuana cigarette and looking like a down and out from cardboard city.
Winehouse was at the pub with a member of jailed Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty’s band, Mick Whitnall whom she left the pub with, arm-in-arm, which surely will do little to allay husband Blake’s fears that she might be set to give up on their marriage.
Living the life of a single woman and wearing a black ‘string-vest’, well worn out ballet pumps and cut off jeans Amy looked as though she has returned to her old habits of drugs, booze and bad company.
Having returned to her Camden home at around 4 am, Amy seemed to have forgotten her door keys and decided, along with her friends to break into her house through the garage door.
This is the woman who has been entrusted to create the theme tune to the next James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.
