Back in her homeland of England, Lily has scored a big hit with the new Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, in her bid to recruit as many of her celebrity pals in her fight against the recent outbreak of knife violence and murder in inner cities throughout the UK.
The 23 year old singer is planning to engage Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Jay Z and the Sugababes in her crusade.
Lily’s comments on the her new role as crime fighter show she has thought it through and has an unusually mature attitude on the matter, “My thoughts are with all the families affected by these heinous crimes. We need to have a knife amnesty. And we should put on a big concert to raise awareness and stop the violence.”
Lily’s aim is to stage a concert in an effort to raise funds to help the bereaved families of knife crime and provide schemes to help clear blades off the streets. Nineteen teenagers have been killed in knife attacks in London this year.

The individualistic, striking young R&B singer from the Barbados has categorically stated that she wouldn’t dream of removing her clothes for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine……well not this week anyway!
Rihanna believes she would become the victim of her mother’s wrath if she posed naked for the world famous men’s magazine. She stated, ‘I am only 20 so my mother would kill me if I posed nude! So when she’s in, maybe, he late 20’s and her mum can no longer land a hefty slap, will Rihanna reconsider?
After all, she has actually gone naked on another occasion but passes that off as art!
Rihanna made a point of telling us about the reasoning behind her body paint photos saying, “When I did that metallic body paint stuff for my video, I didn’t do it to show my body. I didn’t do it for people to like me. I did it because it was a cool visual, unexpected, and it looked hot.”
She added: “I have done a lot of photo shoots for magazines but it’s always great to be shot for a cover because you know that you are looked at as a fashion icon.”

Did anyone actually win or lose in this divorce?
Christie Brinkley pays her now, ex-husband, Peter Cook $2 million to go away and she gets 18 properties that the couple owned in the prestigious Long Island area of The Hamptons. Seems pretty cut and dried!
After a publicly embarrassing divorce, which Brinkley fought to have heard in open court, the feuding couple have come to an agreement after just 4 days in court. Cook was caught having an affair with his teenage office girl, Diana Bianchi, after which Brinkley filed for divorce and this week finally went in for the kill!
Oh, and a side bar, along with the properties, Brinkley gets the kids too!
Brinkley spoke outside the court saying that she fought so hard against Cook because, “a mother’s greatest fear is someone taking away her children.” And dont foget the 18 properties too!
She went on to add that she doesn’t regret marrying Cook because “I have this beautiful daughter as a result of this union.” And the 18 properties too!
As for her peace-sign earrings she wore at the trial Christie stated, “I believe we need to work towards peace in everything we do, so I wear a lot of peace signs.”
Well, she certainly got a good ‘piece’ of Peter Cook’s fortune! And the kids too!
Guess she wanted to get the trial over before Friday so that she can spend the weekend dashing between her properties in the posh vacation region, the Hamptons, and Cook cant wait to get back onto the Internet to spend his $2 million on any porn sites that he may have missed out while attending court!
