Have the recent events in Madonna’s life taken their toll on her once charmed life?
The Material Girl was snapped this weekend leaving a Kabbalah Centre in London looking much less the pop princess and more the street walking down and out.
But as usual, her publicist ran to the rumored adulteresses defense stating, “I just think the photographer got a bad shot of her or it was touched up to make her look bad,” her publicist told People magazine. “I saw Madonna two days before at her rehearsal and she looked amazing — glowing skin and working really hard on her show.”
But with less positive information regarding Madge’s marriage falling apart following rumours of her involvement with New York Yankee’s player, Alex Rodriguez, all her rep could add was, “She’s in a great space.”
If a sunken face, bony arms and a dramatic weight loss is ‘in a good space’, then we should all avoid whatever it is that Madonna is on!

Victoria Beckham spiced up her floral outfit this weekend when attending the 35th birthday party of fellow Brit, Kate Beckinsale. But not adhering to the unwritten rule of not upstaging the bride, Posh Spice completely upstaged birthday girl Kate who wore a full length black dress and matching black and gold shoes.
Posh Spice, the wife of Galaxy star, David Beckham, not content to remain in the background, went for a pair of towering, shocking pink monstrosity shoes to draw attention to herself in the vain attempt to appear as some kind of fashion icon.
Showing what a ridiculous choice the shoes were, Posh teetered dangerously on the 6 inch heels at the Beverly Hills Thompson Hotel where she partied with friend Eva Longoria who was much more sensibly clad in a bright yellow dress and white heeled shoes.
One would have thought with 21 other James Bond movies under their belt the producers of the latest Bond movie would have found the task of nailing down an outstanding theme song for Quantum of Solace would have been a synch!
But its proving more difficult than getting James Bond to commit to a woman!
So, with the list of modern day performers rapidly depleting in their search the producers are now going retro in their consideration of performers.
Names like Annie Lennox and Duran Duran are being banded around in a bid to add their magic touch to the new Bond movie theme.
No final choice has yet been made but with the release of the movie now only four months before it premieres, this musical mishap is becoming an issue.
Duran Duran of course already have experience in the field of Bond themes with their hit of the same name from the 1985 Bond movie, A View to a Kill.
Other greats who could be considered for the task, who are blasts from the past include, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, Madonna and Tom Jones, all of who, unlike the most recent choice for the job, Amy Winehouse, are mature enough to handle the job without being permanently high!
