The “Wedding Crashers” star - who is currently recovering in hospital after he reportedly slashed his wrists and took a pill overdose - was said to be distraught when he saw pictures of his ex-girlfriend with her new man, Dax Shepherd.
Sources claim Owen then attempted to take his own life, with his elder brother finding him unconscious at Owen’s Los Angeles home. Witnesses said the 38-year-old actor was then wheeled out of the house on a stretcher with bandages on his wrists and taken to a nearby hospital. David Perel, editor-in-chief of America’s National Enquirer magazine, said: “Owen Wilson has now been transferred to another Los Angeles area hospital. His elder brother Andrew and younger brother Luke are with him.”
“Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. Both of Owen’s wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills. He was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him at his house.”

The Latino star launched the US-wide competition “Secret’s Show Us Your Moves” in New York yesterday (August 23, 2007). The “I’m Real” singer said: “I’m looking for somebody who’s clean, who can pick up choreography but also has a stage presence.” The first auditions were held at New York’s Roseland Ballroom, where contestants had 30-seconds to show off their talents.
They were judged on rhythm, confidence, presentation, and stage presence. Further auditions will take place in Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago and Las Vegas. Dancers who are unable to make an audition can submit their 30-second dance video to website BecauseYoureHot.com by September 28th.

IMAX Corporation, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures has announced today that “Transformers,” one of the highest grossing movies of the year, will be digitally re-mastered into IMAX’s immersive format and released to IMAX® theaters on September 21.
The Michael Bay-directed movie, which has already generated $310 million in gross box office receipts domestically since its premiere in conventional theaters on July 3, will be enhanced into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® through IMAX’s DMR® (Digital Re-Mastering) technology.
“IMAX’s all-encompassing format takes ‘Transformers’ to a whole new level of detail and intensity,” said Michael Bay, the film’s director. “I am very excited to work with the team at IMAX to create this turbo-charged version.”
